These all look pretty small. Even London.

This is so bogus. If your going to compare city size skylines, you have to use the metro area population. What you're doing now is like comparing the skylines of Minneapolis (pop. 382,605) and Colorado Springs, (pop. 380,307).

And like someone's already said...........this thread is redundant.

Some great aerial shots of Lincoln, NE. (250,000 city, 280,000 metro) From Bill Cobb (aka KC Gridlock?)

Unable to lift the photos, but follow the link.

edit: Looks like I can post b/w photos:

Plans to build a new 300-footer and a 180-footer in Lincoln were derailed by the economy. The project was scaled back to a single 200-footer, but has not yet been finalized.

Edsas: Try right clicking, properties, and highlighting the photo URL (make sure you get it all).

Thanks Dralcoffin. I usually just drag the picture to the address bar. For some reason the whole URL doesn't show up with the color photos when I do that.

Not really. Every once in a while he swings by to post a kick-ass thread, then flies away in his kick-ass helicopter.

Here's a panorama of Halifax I made about a month ago. It's slightly messed up, but I can't find the fixed version at the moment, so it will have to do:

I also really like this aerial photo from back in 2004 with the Queen Mary 2, although it doesn't show the whole downtown:

Little Rock has a pretty impressive skyline for a city under 200,000. Not sure what the metro pop. is. This was one of the best I could locate from my trip back in 2008

^Yeah, so why can't a mod or admin just move these posts into that thread and then delete this thread?
