^We've been hearing about this metro line for a long time...I've lost faith that it's going to happen.

i've lost faith too but few days ago they start off digging and ready to rock and roll

so you've actually been there 30 year ago ? we could have been the second richest country in Asia after Japan if the Southern vietnamese didn't fail to the communist army in the north .... and i'm very sure .

30 years ago would have been 1983. An independent southern Vietnam wouldn't even have been the second richest country in SE Asia let alone the second richest in all of Asia.

^Phu My Hung is the upscale part of District 7 - lots of great cafes, restaurants (American fast food joints, too), Crescent Mall, etc. The map shows D7 with PMH outlined (roughly) in black.

lol u probaly better than me at knowing the Phu my hung since i left my country before Phu my Hung was really "formed" and only visited only 1 just ran by ......................

i really want to taste the Coffe in the side walk at Phu my hung probaly a good idea.. lol

A good shot of district 1 and 3 with Phu Nhuan in the distance. The city seems to go on forever.
