While the building is still under construction, a real estate agent got to tour a full-floor condo for sale. I had not realized how thick the east and west walls would be.

Was there no chance of having more of the eastern & western walls pierced by windows? They're few in number and not floor to ceiling, to boot.

^ The "prized" views are to the north and south. More north than south. But that's what drives these supertall condos on 57th. Everything else is extra. And besides, I love that east/west facade. We get plenty of glass with the other towers.

I'm very underwhelmed. This looks like any other basic luxury condo unit only more cramped, the black windows already look dated and the bathrooms are extremely ugly.

Guess you won't be buying it. How many sf was that unit anyway? I didn't see that.

It says 4,492 sq ft interior space / (417 sqm) in the description but it doesn't look that big in the video.

For such a flashy building I expected better interiors and floor plans. The elevators and stairs being smack in the middle really chop up the unit in an awkward way.

Yeah I'll keep looking.

I don't think it's too much to ask that people can come here and just look at skyscrapers without getting into too much political ideology.

Yikes, it appears they're still replacing crown panels on that 6th level down.

Thumbs up

Not sure if this was posted here yet, but in this video this guy tours a full floor unit on the 43rd floor:

Edit: It's like 4 posts up

So what's the highest occupied height of this building? Is it like around 1200 or does it go higher?

Thats weird how this is the 2nd highest residential towers in the western hemisphere but there are a few buildings in New York and Chicago that have higher residences.

It's the second highest in the world. It's not weird though it just has a bigger crown whereas buildings like Vista or 432 are occupied all the way up (almost).
