I think this work is further north replacing the pilot wharf. Closer to the Saltyard shops and Stubborn Goat Beer Garden.

I believe the Cunard lot is going to have a sea bridge.

I love the aerial shot.... it is showing part of the Maritime Centre renewal project... I would love to see a similar shot now of Maritime Centre now.

I was told by someone well connected that the penthouse is already rented at a mere $13,000 per month. Was told that it will have everything you can imagine and at that price it better be the case. I was willing to go to 12 grand but 13 was just a bit too much.

Thanks for the photos. It'll be interesting to see the finishing on this project since it is higher end than usual.

This is one of those big bang for the buck projects. It replaced an empty lot and it improves/completes 3 streetscapes despite being a small building. The lane is effectively a completely new outdoor space. While it's not perfect there's a lot packed into that brewery block.

It feels like a good scale for the area. Short enough to respect the scale of Government House across the street, but large enough to feel grand. Bishop Street has the feel of a small canyon now, which is quite a difference from 5 years ago (pre Flynn Flats and the Alexander). I have high hopes for the finishing on this one, Killam has done a great job with the Alexander at street level as well as the lane/courtyard (stairs from Hollis, pavers, and landscaping are all very well-done).

Looks like real brick/mortar going on the exterior. Really optimistic about the way this one will turn out!

Looks like some form of cement block rather than stone for the grey parts of the exterior. But this kind of finish is a big step up from large precast panels.

I'd hope it's a decent finish with the rents that'll likely be charged here.

Passed by this morning and I only got a fairly passing glimpse, but the stone/cement/whatever looked nice, and as mentioned below the brick looked genuinely excellent. Gives the impression of real masonry--the renderings for this looked a little flat; I think the actual building will have more texture and presence.
