The current RWB building wasn't built exactly according to its original plan, there was supposed to be more glass incorporated into the design around its main entrance. I've seen a photo of it somewhere before but I'm not sure if it can be found online.

We have something nice and similar to that in Winnipeg, save the 9-10 storey tower beside it. This:

Does anybody know if the bus stop on Graham will be moving back to the location west of Hargrave? Looks like theres benches and the sidewalk pavers lead out the to the street. The stop at city place is the temp location.

I would not expect to see anything done until the sidewalk on the powerhouse side gets restored. It still has the gravel down the middle from when Zayo (Allstream) ran a fiber conduit from the MTS manhole on Hargrave to the Manhole on Carlton.

It was awarded on September 17th to the 'not lowest' bidder and the work was to commence within 7 days and they have 15 working days to achieve Substantial Performance. With Damages of $1500/day. So it should be done by Thanksgiving.

On the south side though. It looks all done from the cam images.

Why is there even a stop there? There's no equivalent stop on the opposite side of the street.

Yes there was a stop next to the old city place lot. It's still shown there in google earth. It was moved temporarily to City Place when TNS started up. So nows there a stop at City Place, then a stop on the next block at the library.
They have 1 stop every 2 blocks on graham for EB. WB is almost every 2 blocks except at this location. Theres a stop across from the library. Then next stop is at Hydro. So it spans 3 blocks.

Bus stops EB seem to be in good spots. It's a block and a half from City Place bs to the Library bs but it's much better to stop at City place than at TNS because of the shelter under the sky walk and the quick indoor entrance.

And while buses are stacked using the whole block at rush hour and therefore have to wait at TNS for the buses to clear City Place which happens too slowly because of other issues, no buses are really boarded when they are almost a whole block away from the stop. If that makes sense.

I don't know the WB issues.

Edit: Maybe City Place doesn't want all us bums hanging out by their doors.

Edit Two: So let's all go hang out at TNS.

I find at City place everyone stands inside the door and then frantically runs outside. When the bus leaves them they're all mad.

At City Place, as was mentioned, only 3 buses fit before encroaching on Hargrave. This is sometimes 2 depending on where the lead driver stop the bus. The rest of the buses queue up on the next block by TNS. Not really a major issue unless all of graham is lined up with buses.

This wouldn't be any worse if the stop was back where it was. I don't really mind having it at either spot though. Was just wondering what the plan is.

In terms of spacing, right now the City Place stop is out of whack. It's only one block from the library stop, but 3 blocks from the next stop westward. Putting it back by TNS would have them spaced at 2 blocks again.
