^ Sunset Park has always been one of my favorite skyline views. This one really stands out from there. By far my favorite addition to the skyline in the last decade.

What happened to the antenna on top of the Empire State Building? Are they doing some restoration work?

The antenna is fine. Those are video stills, so probably just cut.

Okay, I know they recently restored the mooring mast to its original condition. All of those atrocious antennae were eyesores.

Well, the Empire State Real Estate should make the antennae blend with the deck to have the deck spire style which would make the building more beautiful.

I'm sure someone has already made the comparison, but this building reminds me a bit of the Cathedral of Learning in Pittsburgh. Love it!

This was to be the site of a 900 footer, a companion to BK tower on the skyline. Sadly, it now is not. The Brooklyn Tower still stands proud.

I really hope they keep this lighting...
