They've painted the stained glass wall and there are now two retailers open along Gottingen.

Noticed in Nova Scotia (http://halifaxbloggers.ca/noticedinnovascotia/) has some detail shots of this building:

It looks pretty great from this angle. The yellow doors and balconies make it a lot more interesting.

I didn't realize the stained glass scene was like this; I figured it had some religious theme.

Looks amazing, I just fear it will be vandalized.

I think Dexel did a nice job with the accent lighting at night. There's yellow strip lighting along the top of the "tower", spotlights along Gottingen and Kaye and the stained glass wall is also lit up.

This is a super nice building tastefully done. Louis Lawen has hit it out of the park four times in a row now. The St Joseph, Avonhurst, Vertu and Vic are all architecturally and aesthetically pleasing - and great improvements to their neighborhoods.

All four retail units are now claimed. There is a furniture store, yoga apparel store, P'lovers General store, and a soon to be Heartwood Restaurant. Dexel has also installed an interpretive panel for the stained glass memorial.

Re: the stained glass, it looks like it's covered by plexi or lexan or something? Should help with the vandalism problem.

I only just noticed the lighting on the balconies. Looks really nice at night.

That lighting looks like it might be fairly irritating if you were a tenant.

The balconies appear to be on the living side of the unit and not on the bedroom so it shouldn't have that much of an effect.
