how about the grand historic (1848) high bridge between washington heights in manhattan and the bronx? it's the original high line!

Providence, Rhode Island new pedestrian bridge (the pilings were from the old I-195, which got moved just south...the arched bridge)

^^ love that nyc A-frame suspension design (assume it would host people + people-powered wheels).

Mixed-use (incl. pedestrians) - some lovely new little links for T.O.'s massive PortLands revitalization, which includes re-directing the mouth of the Don River and creation of a new island. The curved metal is being bent by ship-builders in the Netherlands, shipped in pieces to Nova Scotia (to be assembled/welded like a puzzle) and then on to the PortLands via the St. Lawrence Seaway.
