Alot of concrete footings being poured for various buildings now. Suspect steel will be going up in near future.

Steel now up for Dollarama at the back, Mary Browns on the northeast corner and working on the steel for the Williams and unnamed others at the intersection. The building Dollarama is going in is supposed to have another large space, but it doesn't look to me like they have put up the steel for that other part. On the drawing on York's site, that building goes almost right over to the east side of the property with room for a service lane, but it looks like it's just basically centred on the south side of the property.

Good progress enclosing the other buildings now. Suspect the exterior brick work will be starting soon.

Pace of work is pretty minimal as they are slowly finishing the exteriors. Doesn't appear that any interior work is starting as none of these business are likely planning to open given Covid.

Could be the first one to close too, as this chain has struggled for a foothold in a crowded market of chicken joints (KFC, Popeye's, Swiss Shatlet) outside of its home of Newfoundland.

The long standing one on Horton St closed a couple of years ago while the one at Clarke Rd and Dundas has continued on.

And from what I heard, the only reason the Horton one closed was because of a dispute the owner had with the company, so he dropped the company and carried on as an independent.
