thanks guys for the sleuthing...I had a feeling these writers on Chi arch blog are never really that accurate and normally stealing info from here at times... thanks again

I'd recommend always taking anything posted on that blog with a pinch of salt. There is only one active 'writer', who goes by 'the Editor', and his information isn't always reliable.

^Big improvement! I really like the facade- simple, yet still interesting. Looks handsome next to the Viceroy. I like how the balconies are integrated, too.

Yeah I don't know why everyone on here is still giving SCB so much shit. They've actually done some pretty good work recently. 210 N Carpenter, 625 W Adams, 320 N Sangamon, Paragon, 5252 Cornell. Like come on people, they certainly have had some bad projects but they have done some pretty remarkable work recently. I wouldn't just say they are getting better, I'd say that they are better. We have a tendency to look at the bad projects, like Marquee at Block 37, and not on the many good projects they have.

^SCB is definitely improving; they're no longer stuck in the early 2000s. The building proposed is finely detailed and really enhances the surrounding area. I love that rendering looking north, with the Viceroy in the picture. Would be a solid addition to Gold Coast!
