I heard there is going to be a new BMO Tower, an office building. I also heard that it is part of the Union Station Redevelopment Project. It is going to be 727 feet high, that means around 50 floors.

It’s been 3 years since I’ve last been to Adler. Skyline changes from there are amazing.
OBP, Vista, 110 n Wacker peaking out, that dorm, Essex, NEMA, and the south of Roosevelt stuff.
Noticeably thicker, and such a different feel now.

"DIR. DEV. SERVICES PERMIT FOR FOUNDATION THROUGH LEVEL 3 (PHASE1) WITH ENCLOSED PARKING FOR 53 SPACES (47 REQUIRED @ 1.5/D.U) AT 1ST -3RD FLOOR AND RETAIL SPACE OF 3,132 SQ.FT AT 1ST FLOOR LEVEL. FOR A FIFTEEN (15) STORY RESIDENTIAL BUILDING WITH 31 RESIDENTIAL UNITS (4TH - 14TH FLOOR). THE RESIDENTIAL PART WILL BE SUBMITTED UNDER SEPARATE PERMIT (PHASE 11)."

Pro tip: My permit map can sometimes come in handy to check these things pretty damn fast. Took me a solid 15 seconds to get the ID of the permit for this one.
I searched the wrong address. I've never seen the permit ID used as something to track a building permit. Usually the application number (100688266 in this case) is the important number to associate a permit with.

When you're searching, then the address is important. Just remember that the north or west side of a street are even numbered addresses while south or east side of a street is odd numbered. A lot of these projects are under different address permit wise though which is why my map helps cut down the amount of time to find things by a lot. With things like this, visual representation can be much easier. Also, for whatever reason, the permit I posted doesn't show up under the simple application to check building permit status. The database hosted on data.cityofchicago.org has it though.

The id represents the actual record for a specific permit - it's unique to the permit. Application number is useful for other reasons.

Those River West towers are really impressive from the Kennedy. That Aberdeen one juts out more than I’d expected.
