I never got why people liked Radiohead. I don't like them too much. But there seems to be a 10,000 person fan club just in Seattle. David Bowie is ok too. That Ashes to Ashes song has a nice beat but then the whole echo effect ruins it.

Does anybody know that equation 5+5=9.something?

My friend told me about it. Has anybody taken advanced chemistry yet?

Hey guys! I'm glad to say I'm back. To answer Peter's question, I spent the last 8 days down in Ft. Myers, Captiva, Sanibel, and Naples Florida. It was an excellent trip.

I have a lot of catching up on the sketch-up forum.

Just to show one of the projects we do in MESA. This is an earthquake tower and we put metal plates on each "floor" or the building, then we bolt it on an earthquake simulator and see how long it lasts before it breaks. I think I did a pretty good job but I'm not done yet. I still have 3 more sides to finish and maybe I'll post more picture later:

I did something like that back in sixth grade, except its was just for whatever science I took. We just had to make a structure (using fetucine (sp?) and tape) and we had to see how well it could stand having textbooks placed on it while it was in our little earthquake simulator (it wasn't very high-tech, but it worked). My friend and I destroyed everyone else (not to brag), mainy because ours was a short little guys, with loots of x-beams. I don't have any pictures, but I could try to draw up a diagram.

I heard something similar, that 0.99999 = 1.

Well not really, but some people think that if there are an infinite amount of 9s after the decimal point, then one MUST round up to 1.

That's a great area of Florida. The Gulf Coast is beautiful. When I was younger we went on a vacation to Fort Myers/Sanibel Island. Another time, about 2 years later, we went there again to get away from Hurrican Floyd.

Those are great! My favorite is Down to the Waterline. Sultans of Swing is another good one and their most popular no doubt.

Join marching band and i guarantee you'll have a blast. Specifically, join the drumline. I did it for 4 years and it was the best time of my life (so far).

goodluck!

Mehh. Highschool. Drama. People. Friends. Just don't be an idiot and think it's cool to skip. I already failed like 4 classes cause I used to think it was "cool" to skip classes. I still do it but not enough so that my teachers fail me.
