Sorry I haven't posted so much on Pierpont. Ironically it used to be that I'd always post but have nothing much to post about. Right now, I've been working so hard on it and have gotten so much done, but I for some reason just can't summon the will to post on it!

Blaaaah, Sketchup fever has come to an end I think... at least for now :\

I’ve just lost interest in spending a lot of time putting stuff together; mainly because I just don’t have that kind of time to spare. I opened it up a couple weeks ago for the first time in a while and I completely lost my sense of navigation on the program

….oh well….it was fun when it lasted.

Anyone here watch the IIHF junior chamionship in ice hockey?

Canada is going to beat Sweden tonight to get a by to get to the semi finals. Going to wtach the game in 10 minutes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I know! Roy did terible in net. Schenn got 1 goal and one assist. They now have to play in the quarterfinals! gahhhhhhh!

Roy didn't do well in net as he gave up too much space for the Swede's. Very exciting/nervewracking game though.

Canada will pull it off thought, and will go to the finals.

Russia won! 5 to 3! I wouldn't know that if it wasn't for the fact that I work at a sports restaurant.

Anyways, fuck HP! FUCK FUCK FUCK HP! I got an HP because I had good experience with them, but i don't think i'm buying a pre-manufactured computer from now on!

My computer's been slower lately and today i turned it off and when i restarted it i got a 'hard disk failure is imminent'

now i need a new hard drive

good thing i had all of my important files stored on an external hard drive! and thank god hard drives aren't that expensive!

I'm speechless. I was so upset when Canada had a 3-0 lead and lost it in the third period. I'm still upset/ speechless.

got a new laptop, but made the horrible mistake of not checking the video card power.... sketchup runs even slower now than before...

How long have you had the laptop? How powerful is your video card. You could always just customize it.

2.5 weeks old, and its 128mbs.... Horrid!!!

I'm thinking of buying a new one, its just that it appears to be quite difficult to replace video cards in laptops, as they are sautered right onto the motherboard, while pc's have cords running from the video card to the motherboard. (this is all based on meh research, if anybody can prove me wrong, i'd like it!)

I’ll also shortly be in the market for a new laptop. The current one I have; a Dell Inspiron 9300 has worked out very well, but it’s becoming a relic of the mid-2000’s.

What do you guys recommend? Dell? Apple? HP?

Several people I know have Apple; they look and function real nice, but after using Dell for many years I just can’t get used to anything but a Dell.

apple is too damn expensive for what you get, wish you could get osx on other pcs...

out of those three choices, i'd have to go with dell, i too have had good experiences with them, and i find Hp loads WAY too much pre-installed software onto their computers, and as soon as you boot it up, there are 5 different softwares asking you to buy the full version...
