1) Chrysler Building (1930 - William Van Alen)
Art Deco story, sheer height, fame, glory, and its eponymous nature with "Art Deco". There is not one ounce of the building that is not Deco. Andy Warhol summed up the skyscraper's essence: "It looks like money."

2) One Wall Street (1932 - Ralph Parker)
This may be my favorite building in Lower Manhattan. Elegant lines, well-placed setbacks, the banking room!, and who can leave out the crown and top floor penthouse office? Someone post a pic of that baby if you can find one.

3) Fuller Building (1929 - Walker & Gillette)
mmm...black granite base! THAT is as Deco as it gets. Lots of right angles and squares, international style windows, mosaics, 2-D brinze paneled elevators that tell the story of construction (Fuller Company)...the epitome of NY Deco here!
