Best Night Skylines in the World

The best night skylines in the world? Pictures would be nice. Here are my top ten.

1. New York
2. Toronto
3. Rio Djeneiro
4. Detroit
5. Chicago
6. Cincinnati
7. Hong Kong
8. Seattle
9. Vancouver
10. Dubai

I like the skylines that have different color lights, that's the reason some cities are lower or higer than expected.

622, do you actually understand why you don't see threads like this on this board? Putting 'best' in the title is grounds for failure...

So based on my opinion, I *still* nominate Bartlesville, Oklahoma...

Dallas. At least in Texas, it's tops. The rest of Texas' skylines are like the old Grandville house in 'It's a Wonderful Life'.

I started to make a list but........in this day and age, with new lighting technology, there are very few cities (with a skyline) that wouldn't be in the running for "best". It's much easier to find those few cities that can't compete. Two underperformers I can think of are Boston and San Francisco (for their size). And I am not saying they are bad.......just not as spectacular as the others.

^ I'm assuming this is not in order, because that would be quite an odd arrangement. Detroit over Chicago? Cincinnatti over Hong Kong?

No that's just a list of ten, but here is the list in order.

1.New York City
2.Hong Kong
3.Toronto
4.Rio Djanerio
5.Detroit
6.Seattle
7.Chicago
8.Cincinnati
9.Vancouver
10.Dubai

Like I said I think a blue, green, red lighting looks much nicer on a skyline than plain white lights. That's why Chicago is low on my list. The skyline isn't a display of lights, it's just a blan white glow.
