Is this supposed to be a good thing? A bigoted racist building one of the tallest towers in the South?
Before you shoot me down we in Florida already have Trump towers but I don't think this is a positive for the ATL at this moment.

Just sayin' and not hatin' !

ATLANTA | 98 14th ST. | 920 FEET | 74 FLOORS

The building may soar to about 920 feet, ranking behind only Bank of America Plaza as Atlanta's tallest tower.

More information will be posted as when available.

Well this just got much more interesting. Love the height to width ratio.

A multinational development group intends to find out. Olympia Heights Management said it will start construction by year-end on a 74-story tower that would reach new heights in Midtown in more ways than one.

The tower, to be called 98 Fourteenth Street, would be one of the city’s tallest buildings and would feature the largest number of luxury high-rise condos in any single project in Atlanta since the Great Recession.

The second tower, a 68-story structure still early in the design concept, could include a luxury hotel and apartments, she said. The developers are in talks with high-end restaurants, a grocer and luxury spa and fitness center operators.

Zickert said the total scale of the project is similar to the original three-tower design, though the retail portion has grown.

that open air level about a third of the way up the tower is really interesting. And im really interested to see what the rooftop levels look like.. looks like some staggered terraces up there. If the cladding end up looking as good as those renderings this will be amazing.. just the height alone is amazing - second tallest in Atlanta and highest occupied floor!

Love the height, but the tower would have been a lot more classy if the notch had just continued all the way down to the ground. Why it suddenly juts across the tower 1/3 of the way up is a mystery.

^ You totally beat me to the punch! I'll second the Toronto Four Seasons resemblance, which is a good thing.

I assume you are talking about the potential for the second building to be a Trump hotel? first of all that wouldnt be one of the tallest buildings int he south.. it is shorter than the main building. second of all, people are excited for the building and it being a hotel.. just because it ( potentially ) has Trump on the side of it doesnt make it a "bigoted racist building".. thats just ridiculous.. it probably wont be a Trump hotel anyway

Im rooting for a Fairmont. They're one of the few global luxury chains missing from Atlanta.
