I think I found the house, it's at 3751 Franklin Ave., it's has some work done(well it's close to Hollywood).

They've converted the balcony above the garage to a finished room and supersized it! But I was not convinced that this was indeed the house, so let's head down Rhonda Vista a few more feet...

Since the trees were blocking the right hand portion of Mr. Hill's original view, I took the GoogleMobile down the street past the trees. You can see the double garage at an angle to the street, the flat roofed white building and the mountains in the background(you can also see some high rises in Glendale in Mr. Hill's shot). Still not convinced? You drive a hard bargain friend.

ETA: One thing that did bother me with this ID was the street light's shadow in Mr. Hill's photo, I don't think the current street light is far enough from the wall of the angled garage to produce that shadow. My theory is that when they built the green-grey monstrosity(it's picture is in the dictionary for the definition of fugly) they moved the street light for the new driveway.
