Lumiere - Downtown
Mixed use building by Millcraft Investments - 70 condos, 30,000 sq ft retail space, 582 car garage, rooftop deck

9th & Penn proposal - Mixed use downtown development by The Davis Companies - $175 million mixed-use development would include up to 185 high-end condominiums, 30,000 square feet of street-level retail, and a new 935-space garage.

Union Trust Building - Downtown - $100 million renovation by The Davis Companies (Completed)

Eighth & Penn - Downtown - Trek Development - $46 million reuse of two vacant 19th century eight-story office buildings as well as the construction of an 11-story addition. Under Construction.

Kaufmann Department Store redevelopment - Downtown - Core Realty - Retail, hospitality (160 room Even Hotel), multifamily and office space.

Former Frank & Seder Department Store downtown - The Icon on Smithfield - Stark Enterprises - State of the art retail and office rehab.

Finished product will look something along the lines of this:

Mon Wharf Switchback - Bicycle/pedestrian ramp connecting Mon Wharf to the Smithfield Street Bridge.

632-634 Fort Duquesne Boulevard - Mark Cuban/Walnut Capital
$30 million project, which will feature 76 apartments on floors six through nine and offices, possibly in the form of co-working space, on floors two through five.

Point Park Playhouse - Performing arts venue for Point State University

Tower Two Sixty - Completed

Tower at PNC Plaza - Completed

Bjarke Ingels Group mixed use proposal for Lower Hill District site; Formerly Civic Arena - $500+ million; 1,200 residences and over 1 million square feet of retail space and office space, reconnecting the wider Hill District with the downtown core by reinstating the city's road grid, overlaid with a series of pedestrian footpaths, public plazas and green spaces.

Highway cap over crosstown boulevard (579) between downtown and the Hill District. $26 million. Funding in place with a $19 million federal grant.

Station Square residential development - Forest City Realty - $60 million development will feature 319 apartments in two five-story buildings, one with a six-story wing connected by a pedestrian bridge. A 340-space parking garage will be built underneath the complex.

Southside Works - Highwood properties office building - 107,000 sq ft

Riviera - South Oakland - New office building in the Pittsburgh Technology Center (PTC)

Hotel Indigo - South Oakland - PTC

Carnegie Science Center addition - Northshore - $34.5 million

Rivers Casino hotel - Northshore - $35 million

Northshore office building, SAP Ariba software to be anchor tenant - Northshore - $23 million

Garden Theater block mixed use building - Central Northside, North Avenue - Trek Development - 72 apartments

Garden Theater block - Alphabet City renovation - Complete - Apartments on upper floors, Restaurant Casellula/City of Asylum bookstore featuring books of writers living in asylum.

Workingman's Saving Bank (Designed by Daniel Burnham in 1901) redevelopment - Central Northside, East Ohio Street - October Development - $20 million Rehab of old bank bldg into banquet space on 1st floor and brewpub with skyline view on roof; 6 story hotel next door; 3 story apartment building.

AC Hotel - Strip District

Uber Advanced Technologies Research Lab (Autonomous vehicles) - Strip District

Uber autonomous car test track - Hazelwood

3 Crossings - Mixed use development on 16 acres - $130 million - 4 office buildings (375,000 sq ft) Tenants include Apple; Argo AI; Bosch; Burns White law firm; Rycon Construction; 300 unit apartment building;

Cochran Audi dealership - Strip District

Riverfront Landing - Strip District - 1st phase of $450 million mixed use development - over 750 units of housing, plus retail and office space, on 37 acres of prime Allegheny riverfront

Produce Terminal - Strip District - $63 million proposal to rehab this 1,400+ ft long former produce distribution terminal into retail and office space.

1600 Smallman Street - Strip District - Mixed use, 1st floor retail upper floors office

Waterfront Place townhomes - Strip District - 46 townhomes Between Produce Terminal & Allegheny River

21st & Smallman St (Former Ayoob warehouse) - Strip District - 420,000-square-feet development that would include 380,000 square feet of office space, 40,000 square feet of retail, and a 1,000-space parking garage.

District 15 - Strip District - Office building

Arsenal Terminal development - Lawrenceville - 12.75 acres - 625 apartments and townhouses and retail.

Tech Mill 41 - Lawrenceville - Fort Willow Developers & Walnut Capital - The $12 million office building next to The Foundry at 41st.

Foundry at 41st - Complete - $35 million, 182 apartments

Tech Forge on 47th - Lawrenceville - $20 million - office space for robotics companies

Tryp Hotel by Wyndham rehab - Lawrenceville - 107 rooms

Penn Highland Building - East Liberty - 15,000 sq ft retail, 78 apartments

Bakery Square 2.0 - East Liberty - Office; Apartment buildings; Townhouses. 215,000 sq ft office building, primariy leased by Google and connected to the Nabisco Factory which is also leased by Google.

East Liberty Centre - Office with 1st floor retail

Penn Plaza mixed use development - East Liberty - Details are not finalized but the plan originally was to include 200 apartments, 12,000 sq ft office in 1st phase, a Whole Foods and 580 parking spaces

Coda on Centre - East Liberty - 172 apartments

Ollie at Baumhaus - Friendship - 127 apartments built by Vitmore.

Forward Square - Squirrel Hill - $50 million - 125 apartments and 3 retail spaces

2700 Murray - Squirrel Hill - 39 condos

Squirrel Hill Gateway Lofts - 33 units of affordable housing

UPMC - Announced in November of 2017 that they will invest $2 billion to build 3 new hospitals in the city. These are preliminary drawings released - Final designs subject to change.

UPMC Heart & Transplant Hospital in Oakland - 15 story, 620 beds

UPMC Vision and Rehabilitation Hospital, 300,000 sq ft - Uptown

UPMC Hillman Cancer Hospital at UPMC Shadyside, 240,000 sq ft patient tower and 160,000 sq ft outpatient center.

Skyvue apartment building - Oakland - 389 apartments - Completed

Residence Inn - Oakland - Next to Skyvue on the right side is this 144 bed hotel.

3407 Forbes Avenue - Oakland - 137 apartments - $25 million

The Oaklander hotel - Oakland - 167 room hotel

The Bridge on Forbes - Oakland - 197 Apartments

The Empire - Oakland - $106 million - 723 apartments, 10,000 sq ft retail

Carnegie Mellon University construction projects - Oakland

Cohon University Center

CMU - Ansys building - Made possible with a donation from Ansys

CMU - TCS building - Made possible with a $35 million donation from Tata Consultancy Services

CMU - Tepper Quad - 315,000 sq ft - Named for the donations of Pittsburgh born and raised and educated David Tepper, founder of Appaloosa Management.

ALMONO site - Hazelwood - 1 billion+ massive mixed use development, 5 million sq ft

Mill 19 - Hazelwood - The renovation on the ALMONO site of an existing 190,000 sq ft mill building into a unique light industrial/R&D space.

City's Edge - Uptown - Mixed use, 106 apartments; 15,000 sq ft retail; 439 space garage (It's right next to PPG Paints Arena)

Flats on Fifth - Uptown - 74 apartments - Complete

Royal Dutch Shell new ethane cracker plant (taking advantage of the Marcellus shale in the Pittsburgh area) - 35 miles Northwest along I-376W - Potter Twp, Beaver County - $6 billion plant - 6,000 temporary construction jobs, to peak in summer of 2019 after that 600 permanent jobs.
