Man, I wish my city had a "Pussy Corps".

If so, I recall walking by there at night last time I was in Montreal on the way to the bus terminal...sketchy.

I't the HQ of crack dealing in Montreal. I used to work there when I was younger as a janitor and I got punched, and stolen all my janitor equipment by some russian kids. They also stole my radio and were found later smoking crack while saying insanities on the radio...

In Kitchener, there is a growing suburbanization of poverty, gangs, and 'grit'. Although there are still some rough patches in the downtown area. Here's an interesting little site called the Kitchener Rap Dictionary. There's a section called "hoods" that you can check out.

http://www.rapdict.org/Kitchener

Here's one of the larger hoods, Victoria and Westmount.

Hamilton & Montréal are equally as gritty... I was VERY surprised by this as I only ever saw 'nice' pics of Mtl before going to school there. But it's all good, Grit gives city Character

I realize it isn't abandoned or falling apart but it isn't exactly a new building either. I love the size of it and the fact it is still operational as a factory but the outside has a certain level of industrial grit. Which makes it quite beautiful in my eyes.

Canadian Grit

I think it's time that there is a thread that showcases the grittiness of Canadian cities.

I'll start off with a few from Montreal.

This is going to turn into a "my city has more bombed out graffiti bunkers than yours" competition awful fast.

The RIP T.A. Factory one is really cool. Love that.

Not my intention, but I'll shut it down if it gets unruly.
