This takes my focus off the Linc every time I drive it. I'm glad traffic doesn't stop just after or I'd risk rear-ending someone.

I bet they got something pretty from doing that, not that I have any knowledge at all on how procurement of homes and land go with a developer taking hold of it. My mind tends to think that it could be a very handsome sum if you keep at the bargaining table more than once.

P.S. Indoor pools are the bomb, especially this time of the year, like today even!

A few pictures from this afternoon. Taken as a passenger from a moving car so they are not the greatest, but nonetheless:

Probably due to a lack of trades-people. Lots of demand, can't expand the pool of skilled work fast enough to handle it (never mind the pandemic's many effects)

A duplex is going up just down the street from us, replacing a smallish old home. It seems to have stalled after the framing and sheeting went up... a few windows have been put in, but there has not been a lot of activity on site. I imagine the same issue is holding things up.

I’ve noticed that all the units are still empty and it’s been finished for a year now. What’s going on with this building?

Streetview from July shows it under construction still:

Clearly a very slow moving project though.

I've been watching this project for years and I even reached out to the developer but they were very tightlipped and not willing to talk about the project at all. I can't imagine how any lender could still have confidence this project will sell if it ever actually finishes.

it sat open to the elements for almost 2 full winters, how can any of that timber not be rotting away by now?
