mcminsen, nice capture! on that Liebherr LTM 1400-7.1 - 500 Ton - 196' + 130' flexing its muscles.
I believe it's the same one that worked the tower crane at BP Office.

I was having a good look at that today. The alley is now open.

^^^ I'm guessing that stone was just recently unearthed as they were digging up the sidewalk along the Georgia side.

It would be consistent with some other stones that came out of the excavation almost three years ago...

Well there you go, the Art Display for this project, titled 'Glacier Boulder'... That will be 6 million dollars please, thank you. (Poor Van House, I just can't let it go)

I wish it were taller, it's nice and all but feels like nothing special at its finished height.

I walked by that boulder the other day and wondered where it came from as I didn't see an obvious big round pit.
It's a nicely shaped boulder.

From the library roof. Couldn't get right to the end over Homer Street as it's still closed.

The big rock is gone. Maybe they put it back where they found it.

I'm surprised at how small the atrium area of the lobby is. Behind the green wall looks to have a low ceiling.

Seems like the other side is more open where the restaurant is on Homer.

I find that the highly reflective soffits under each cube make it harder to distinguish/delineate the cubes from one another. I would prefer if they were a dark colour.
