Very LA. You captured the more gritty and urban side of LA nicely!

Oh god, LA aint no other place like it. I sure miss LA, this thread summed up LA pretty good. I like how in some of your pictures how the tall rich skyscrapers of Downtown rise above the ghetto.

What can I say, THAT is Los Angeles. You nailed the concept of this town damn near perfect with these 200 snaps. Kudos to you.

Wow. What an unflinching look at LA. I've never seen a photo thread where I really felt like I was there. I live in LA, but I can't feel it sitting here in the office as powerfully as I can looking at your pics. I can feel and taste the air and sense the space between things.

What an honest look at the city.

That's not the LA that us East Coasters imagine. Every city no matter how glamorous has their gritty side.

Very interesting...enjoyed looking at each one!

Man, I fly all of you out there, in first class no less, and my name is the last to appear on the special thanks list!?

At least mthq gave me some love...

I kid, I kid. The photos kick ass; so nice to re-live a fantastic trip so soon. Can't wait for the rest of the photos to show up here.

Also, I think Gatorbitch's avatar and user title sum up the trip best.

Yep thats me the guy with the beanie on, and on the bridge and who knows where else I was captured in the photos. It was so cold you needed one on your head. Yes it was freezing here in so-called warm southern California. I think the cold even took its toll on the the mid-western forumers (lol). I love it, I don't think they realize it does get a bit cool here at times and not always as warm as the media and some of the locals like to brag about.

That shot inside the train car reminded me of another classic Segun trait: sheer bravado. You'll take a picture under almost any circumstances without any real hangups about it. And I admire that. Remember that shot in NY of the girl on the opposite side of the el platform. Clearly, she wasn't having it. But it didn't matter, you still took the shot.

^ I'm a little covert, but wait till you meet Aaron Davidson(Paradox22), he's the only dude I've seen stand out side someone's window and take a picture inside of people eating, blatantly point the camera in someone's face, and roll through the Wild 100's, hop out the car, take a picture of a whole bunch of G's on the corner, run back and drive out. I bet somewhere in his collection he's got a murder documented. Seriously

But he won't post his pictures.
