I'm sure this will suck when compared to others on here but this is just a basic design. Keep it simple, thats the way I like it. Didnt have much time to do this one either mainly because Im still working hard on my Russellville model and thats more important to me than these things but hey, what the heck. Did it in about 20 minutes.

It sucks, yeah I know lol School is just getting way too busy for me right now too.

So, I was looking on HAIF.com the houston architecture forum and the Memorial Park Conservancy is having a bridge design contest, its $20 to enter and I thought someone on here might like to enter it.

ur bridge is ok, just remember not to add elements that serve no purpose, like the arcs in the upper part of the bridge.

I wasen't going to do a stadium(I stink at them). If it's now a bridge I suppose i'll give it a try. Although one thing, why did you shorten the deadline two days?

Far from it. The top half is purely asthetic and has the practicality. A seperate smart and sensible element supports the bridge and does it with a simple supporting touch.

Like a man gently aiding his beautiful maiden across a gap.

Yeah, the second one looks good but the road part would have to be curved too... like... a... vagina! When viewed from top.

ANYWAYS! Can't wait till voting opens. I thought about making a modern design too but I just went with the generic arch bridge... Maybe I'll add something to spice it up a bit.

k

lookin forward to this comp, cant wait to see these bridges.....for my bridge i got inspiration from a buckeled bicyle wheel..a packet of polo mints which are mints with holes in them..and if you have shattered the bones in your leg the docs put a steel brace around it .....and to top it all off i traveled bak in time and forward again with the american dream on tow......thus resulting in a bridge.....but being me something will have to happen to it when this comp is over ...will it remain a bridge ????...will it be a happy ending????

Ok, I will participate in this competition. After I do my model, what do I do? Post it here? Send by email to the guy who created the contest?

He is the canyon I will use as a setting... Canyon Fortaleza, at the city of Cambará do Sul (some 250km away from where I live). Its 750 metres deep.
