Lots of pubs here are expanding their patios and setting up screens for viewing, this could be an interesting playoff run!

Going to 5th overtime in the Lightning/Blue-Jackets game. There is a minimum of 75 minutes between games, so the Boston/Carolina game will not start til 10:30 at the earliest. Crazy ass start to the Covid Cup.

Think that was the 5th longest game in league history lol. Has to be tough on the players, they are going to be sore today!

4th longest.

Seth Jones set a new record for most minutes played since the NHL has been tracking that (97-98 season). 65:06 ice time.

Korpisalo set a goaltending record with 85 saves, eclipsing Kelly Hrudey's 73 saves record from 1987.

That's nuts. I remember Khabibhulin used to have to change skates between periods because he sweat so much, that dude would lose 30 lbs in a game like that lol.

It would have been cool if both goaltenders eclipsed Hrudey's numbers.
Tampa attempted something like 188 shots on goal and Columbus blocked over 60. Those are both staggering numbers.

Canucks were already ramped up from the Wild series vs the Blues 3 mean nothing games, so it’s not surprising the Canucks won game 1. Blues will be a lot tougher to be going forward. Still sticking with my Blues in 6 prediction. Unless Binnington has lost it. He hasnt had that same edge he had last year, and he was not good last night.

Like I said, Vancouver will be the 2019/2020 Stanley Cup Champions.

It hurts to say that, but it will be.

I don't think the Canucks will take it all, they are far too young and inexperienced for that. They may be at the start of something big, but they aren't there yet IMO.

He’s trying to jinx the Canucks. The Canucks are too young and inexperienced to go all the way.

I have Colorado as the winner in the west, not sure about the east yet.
