It certainly could affect general construction when it comes to material and construction supply imports coming from China as well.

99 University Ave might be one of the worst surface parking lot offenders the city has seen in a decade:

^That's not approved, is it? It's in the Beltline overlay and would require a Beltline SPI. Don't see how that possibly would be approved.

The rents need to increase $300 per month if a car park deck is provided. Car decks cost between 18,000 and 20,000 per space. Instant gentrification.

It’s on the NPU agenda.

cannot wait for this, 1105 WP, & Midtown Union to help reshape the midtown skyline. Norfolk Southern I wonder if you’ll be able to see from the east side of town or just from the west.

In not quite as exciting news, the (townhome?) development west of Windgate along Parkway at the old Premier Academy site is underway. It’s fenced off and foundation in place. I believe the fence said “Empire” and the lot was fairly large.

525 Parkway is topped out just up the street.

Emory midtown parking deck elevator looks gargantuan from North Ave station. The deck will be imposing.

The Mark appears to be topped out. Makes Plaza Midtown condos look dwarfed.

The Midtown Development Review Committee met tonight review two projects: 6-story residential project that includes unique shipping container units 13th and Crescent Ave + a 34-story mixed-use project with retail and 284 residential units by Greystar.

I think the Greystar proposal is pretty sharp looking.
