In the Midtown section of Philadelphia, Estia Group, a family-owned company known locally for its Greek restaurant Estia and Italian restaurant Pietro’s, plans to develop a 14-story hotel called Blu Ivy at 11th and Sansom streets that will have 86 rooms. The hotel will have a health-and-wellness focus. Closer to Love Park and the Pennsylvania Convention Center, the Lau family of New York plans at 15th and Cherry streets to develop a 14-story, 29,000-square-foot building called the Revival Hotel that will have 64 micro rooms.

God, I can't get over how much I love the design of this tower. It looks so good. I'm really excited for it to go up, especially considering what the area looks like right now.

It's sexy. Like, this might be my favorite design in quite awhile. Only concern is materials.

Huge changes for this stretch in the next couple years since the enterprise garage adjacent to this is also getting demo'd and redeveloped as is the Wendy's down the street at Walnut.

Looks terrific. The decorative glass elements really work, and I love the balconies, second floor greenery, and that there is a little bit of a decorative crown. In an era and city when a lot of smaller highrise projects are lazy, this is not lazy. I wish the Cambria looked more like this...hope the materials used here are quality and it ends up looking like these renders once built out.

I do love the design of this building. I just hope they change the name at some point. "Blue Ivy" makes me think of either Beyonce's daughter or a U.S. Nuclear test.

Looks like some premium materials on this one. If you can't tell, I'm REALLY excited for this project to go up.

Not sure about that. It's to be run by Journal Hotels, the manager at Standard in NYC, Hollywood Roosevelt https://www.inquirer.com/real-estate...CLZDc6AmQqPDIM If it was to be a Marriott brand, I'd think a Marriott company would be the manager. Their hotels are presumably managed by Managed by Marriott, MxM for short. MxM. https://news.marriott.com/2016/01/ma...ed-properties/ But the Standard and Roosevelt are great hotels and this would not be a downgrade over a J.W. if this new hotel is anything like them. When is the Four Season's opening press run supposed to be? August?

It's not a Marriott. The name/brand hasn't been announced yet. But MxM (Managed by Marriott) manages all Marriott hotels. This one is not going to be managed by them. It's going to be managed by the same company, Journal Hotels, that runs the Roosevelt Hotel in LA, Standard Hotel in New York, some others. Good hotels.

If you are instead talking about the manager of the hotel that's going to go up on this plot, rather than the old family court, I don't know. Haven't seen anything.
