Besides the Santa Claus parade I can only imagine what protocols will be like for taking pictures with Santa in the malls? I wonder if Santa will be wearing a mask among other things or if elves will be wearing masks too?

During an impromptu appearance on “The Pat McAfee Show” on Friday, Rodgers said he sought advice from the podcast host about treatments for coronavirus.

“I’ve consulted with a now-good friend of mine, Joe Rogan, after he got COVID and I’ve been doing a lot of the stuff that he recommended in his podcasts and on the phone to me,” Rodgers said while addressing the turmoil surrounding his vaccination status.

Our local Cadillac Fairview mall is already booking reservations with Santa, who arrives at the mall on Nov 19. Reservations are $5, not sure if a picture is extra cost, and Santa and the kid will wear masks.

Everything went awesome!
I guess this Christmas is likely to be spoilt like the previous one.

Is it mandatory to light one of Gwyneth's hooha candles while studying?

My family decided to do something for the holidays, unlike last year, which is nice. Still, I'm not travelling very far at all. (They're coming down to book a hotel and stay a night).

Like any year, I have no real care for the holidays....though the holiday music is a genuinely aggravating at times, mostly because it doesn't really fit well with this pandemic. I'm buying simple, easy to get thigns for the holidays...whenever I get the time. I would be more creative with gifts, but I'm busy these days, and can't really browse around.

Edit: Just took a closer look and saw the people's faces looking out the clowns' asses.

Christmas is 27 days away. That being said no one knows what kind of restrictions might be in place, as they will be local/provincial depending on your local situation.
Well definitely planning on seeing extended family in Toronto for the 24th, 25th, 26th and 31st

We were planning a normal Christmas this year, with our families at our place for dinner on the 25th. However, this past week, my mother-in-law finally got her long awaited kidney transplant, so it's up in the air on whether her and FIL will be coming over or not. Between my daughter who is away at university, my son who works and goes to college, and I work out in the public as well, we aren't sure of the risks at this point for MIL to be around us.

As for around the city, it's pretty much normal now. London has it's second of 3 Santa Claus parades today, the lighting of the lights in the downtown Victoria Park were held last night with a large crowd present and the malls appeared decently busy for black Friday yesterday.

My wife is prettying up the house with Christmas décor as I write this, with a Christmas playlist filling the home with warm giddy tunes.

I grumbled as I was bringing up dusty bins of decorations from our storage room, but can't help but be happy now seeing it all on display. I'll be sick of the music very fast though; in days... maybe hours

I'm surprised you aren't already. I genuinely get angry hearing it in the grocery store. Though that may have to do with it being November....and therefore too early.

About all I can stand Christmas music wise is Fairytale of New York, Happy Christmas War is Over and maybe Do they know its Christmas. Working in retail with Christmas music would get on my nerves pretty quickly. Disney christmas music is the worst.

I haven't heard much Christmas music, there is one local radio station that changed to all Christmas music on Nov 12th. I haven't heard too much in the stores, i probably just drown it out.

No idea what we will do for dinner on the 25th yet, I think I work both eve and boxing day. Just make it low key.

Not buying a lot of gifts and the few I have been getting have all been online so far.
