29 stories for this one, I believe. Maybe deceiving, but the floors simply look taller than surrounding buildings.

Yes. I watched them all afternoon (productive use of an afternoon) - they lifted and lowered a section 3 times before stopping today. I really have no idea how these things work but I can't imagine that's normal.

Yes, tomorrow I will take a picture of it from the 8th floor and you will see it will be much taller than Spire. The 8th floor is eye level to something like the 4th or 5th floor of the building.

I believe Spire and Viewpoint both have 10' floor heights, so unless the floor plates are dramatically taller, the residential section should be on par with it's neighbors. So it won't tower tremendously over Spire.

Spire has 28 residential floors, however the Penthouses on the top have a second floor, effectively making the tallest point of the building (below the spire) 29 floors.

It's 29 floors but many of those are parking. It should be between 300-350 feet.

It will be quite a bit shorter than Spire and Viewpoint since it doesn't have a crown and it's at a lower elevation. It will be taller than SkyHouse and Metropolis, though.

They're probably just getting ready to jump the crane. They will need at least 30'+ clearance over the top floor. They've also braced the crane to the building, but I'm not sure how recent that was. This seems like a reasonable jump and they would be trying to minimize downtime of the crane due to jumping it.

Using the guys working on the crane tower itself as a measuring stick, it looks like each segment might be 20'. If that's the case, they raised it 100'.

are they going to keep the raw concrete between the windows? i don't remember that in the rendering, but now that i look at it, i think it looks kind of cool like that— it shows off the workmanship in making the concrete curve like that.

Think they're going to do alternating black/white paneling similar to the material used on the Lilli Midtown highrise.

No. It will be painted black and white.

Hanover Buckhead as an example.

Notice the concrete during construction

And how sleek it looks after completion.

For some reason the scale of this tower feels huge to me.
