Side note: this model originated in Sketchup but has since been converted to 3dmax before being rendered and exported from Unreal Engine. All new modeling is done in 3dmax. Should this thread be moved to the Skyscraper Urban art section? I'm fine either way.

So awesome. You must have put so much work into this!

Have you thought about uploading it to sketchfab or something like that? Would be so cool to go play around inside the model.

So the model is transferred and rendered in Unreal Engine 4 and exported with VR capabilities. That makes sharing a playable version of it quite large. Definitely not something Sketchfab can host. It would be nice to host it on an offsite server giving members access to it with me constantly updating it live as frequently as I do. These server options exist, however cost money per month, which means I would have charge a subscription for people to access it along with the confidence that enough people would pay to access it enough me keep paying to host it on the server.

I guess I just have to decide if that's something I want to do or not. Till then it remains a passion project.

I added all the El tracks except for parts of the Orange line and the far north parts of the Red and Purple lines.

I took a few shots with all the un-built projects turned on at the same time. Crazy skyline! A coworker helped me program a way to toggle them on and of during game play. I'll post a video soon.

I've been trying my best to keep up with all the new proposals in the west loop.
Here's virtual tour of how the area could look in a few years.
