I just hope these will not be 'dead' buildings where you walk by them on the street and thats about it, it would be nice if they were incorporated together like all of the stuff on K Street (where the IMAX is), where you can interact and enjoy the city.

Regardless, with Sacramento...and everything around it being as flat as a board, it will be cool to see the skyline grow.

When I drive in from Reno, there is a part of I-80 just after Auburn where you go from twisty freeway to the long straight-away going into Sacramento. You are 30 miles from downtown and at about 675 feet.

Right as you go around this last corner, you can look on the horizon and see downtown if it is fairly clear, this view will only get better.

The core that is being built is actually where on-site water
storage will be for the tower.

This is my newest perch to look down at the job site... my
last great location at the 555 Capitol Mall building gave me the
boot because of their new security enforcement rules

I probobly won't get to hang out here vary long either.

You need to see if you can get some press credentials. Maybe they will help you get into places to photograph. Check with some of the Sacramento Mags and see if they can use some photos in exchange for some credentials.

Maybe Rob could help you out with that, Mike.

I don't think press credentials would do it. The problem they have over at 555CM
is they want me to have "bond" of $1 million to be able to shot from there... they
say I am a liability. I even offered to sign a document saying they would not be
liable and I can not sue them if I get hurt on the site, but that was not enough.

Here's the underling issue... 621CM has snatched away one if not more of
555CM tenants and they are not happy about it. I think because I am
remotely associated to 621CM by taking pictures of the project they have
decided to take their frustrations out on me. While I was in the bldg. management
office discussing this they hauled in another guy who was also "lingering"
around to long. They have changed their security level at the building and
it's noticeable. If you do try to get some photos from the top of the garage
be sure the parking attendant on top doe's not see you cause he will have
security on you right quick.
