SHENZHEN | H700 Shenzhen Tower | 2,297 FT | FLOORS

Quote:
bKL Architecture has unveiled their concept design proposal for a new tower and plaza located in Shenzhen, China. Anchoring the gateway between the CBD and the surrounding natural context, the tower, rising to approximately 700m, becomes a technical expression of the developing region, while the plaza provides a cultural focal point for the eastern expansion of the city.
The plaza includes retail, civic, and institutional structures, providing the perfect opportunity to become the cultural epicenter within the new development.

The tower’s elegant form is composed of three transforming design components: the shape, the structure, and the sky gardens. All three design components ground the tower in a continuous interaction between people and nature. The tower is bold, technical, and strong, while at the same time refined, natural, and elegant.

Three of the arrows mean "up" and five of them mean "down"

Re-Planning Package Submitted for China’s Future Tallest Tower in Shenzhen

Quote:
Developer Shenzhen Kingkey Group has submitted a re-planning package to the Luohu District Government of Shenzhen for review and approval. The plan is anchored by a tower poised to rise to 739 meters – a height that could see it become China’s next tallest building upon completion.

H700 Shenzhen Tower is one of a cluster of towers sprouting in Shenzhen’s Caiwuwei financial and commercial area. The developer proposed the building for the site of the existing Huanyu Building, adjacent to another planned megatall expected to rise to 680 meters on the existing site of the Jindu Hotel. A flyover across Shennan Road will connect the two buildings.

The contribution of the bKL Architecture-designed tower to this dense urban landscape will greatly surpass the height of the 632-meter Shanghai Tower upon completion, and thereby become the country’s tallest building and one of the tallest buildings in the world.
