Sorry for using this thread to complain again but this is all what I get on SSC:

Stef VDD, you do not have permission to access this page. This could be due to one of several reasons:

1. Your user account may not have sufficient privileges to access this page. Are you trying to edit someone else's post, access administrative features or some other privileged system?
2. If you are trying to post, the administrator may have disabled your account, or it may be awaiting activation.

Grumpy's post was apparently deleted. Must have been quite outrageous! It was gone when I checked.

^yeah me too

Comming home from a weeks vacation looking forward to some SSC'ing just to get the "good old" 500 - Internal Server Error

I know a lot is done to fix it, but it would be nice with some more openness about the problem and maybe ( if it's to blame ) cutting down on the non English forums, until fixed..

I see very little reason why so much bandwidth and sever whatever is spend on something only a small part of members can use..

It's been highly unstable for a long time now - personally I'd rather have a slimmed down version that works rather than the current version where you cross your fingers every time you post a picture or reply..

^Why shouldn't mods be able to be frustrated?

They are fellow forummers who just took on a non paying job to support the site - if anything they are hit the hardest as they visit for more than just leisure..

Oh yeah it's down again, but atleast there's a notice about it and an estimated time period for the downtown - I appreciate that

( I'm betting DaiTengu's work isn't an easy one.. )

It's been offline for a good 6 hours now. So much for the 2-3 hour down time. It's very frustrating, however coming to this thread and reading people moaning about the site relieves the stress just a little. Keep it up people.

but why the hell are this SSC repairings temporary? one week, everything works fine so you begin to hope..wow, finally everything is okay, but the other week, everything is like shit again.

PS, I'm starting to like this forum there's no much difference from SSC.

odd, but the forum has been messing up for the last few weeks, so I would rather wait for a whole day for it to be fixed for the year, instead of having to suffer months of unreliable service.

Some things just take time, better now than never

sadly, we (non latin forumers) hoped to see utf, so forum will be compatible with non latin countries. and it worked sometimes ok with utf today, but it looks like he is going to revert everything back... that means numerous constant problems for non latin forumers again...

hope restoring back to iso is not what he means under "Database upgrades failed miserably. We should be back up relatively soon."

it took took half a week on SSP to convert db to utf. but it was with vb2. vb3 natively support utf, so with correct conversion there should have been no problems...

500 - Internal Server Error

there it was again some minutes ago. maybe it'd be helpful considering the performance to get rid of some additional features?
