Good idea. That building is perfect for a residential conversion in Erie... layout, amenities, location are all pretty much custom-made for urban living. But I didn't know that it is mostly empty now... I'm not so sure about that.
It is still used as event space though, and believe that they've renovated significantly recently, so I can't see them all of a sudden changing it to apartments. Plus, the demand just isn't there yet for the kind of condos/apartments that would need to be built to make any money on the project.
