Impressive! A white building like Citigroup.

It will do so just a much with Citi's IMO dated modernist aluminum-glass exterior with a downright elegant single-component texturing.

How many of you think that the squatter portion could/should've been taller? If so, what about the idea of using the atrium motif in between for a skybridge at some point halfway up?
Just a thought or two....

I think it's fine. It lines up nicely with the neighboring ones.

Looks like some of the rock tendons have been installed already for the foundation. That should be good enough to move to construction.

What are rock tendons?

^Rock tendons are long cables that are grouted into the bedrock to act as anchors for the tower. They were also used on 432 Park. Anyway, if they really are being installed now that would be part of the foundation, which would make this underconstruction.

NYC zoning requires a setback at 85 ft in most areas.

The robust black modernist building next door both contrasts and compliments this... The perfect backdrop.

This is another tower that's going to look very very tall from a pedestrian level.

Greetings from Phoenix where it pains me to hear "only" and "700 feet" in the same sentence.

How things are going in New York, you'll soon hear "only 1,000 feet". I'm not joking.

And I agree, 610 Lex's design fits in just perfectly.
