I really like those two brownstones corner Sherbrooke and Guy (they're special enough that I immediately knew where that pic was taken). Looks very New York, not that common in Montreal AFAIK. Close to architectural perfection for that style, IMO.

That Dominic Bugatto guy seems to have a thing for early 1970s American compacts. That Valiant and that Maverick aren't telling us anything about Toronto specifically... cool pics tho

Great Toronto set, as usual. The first pic of the laneway really exemplifies COVID times for me (so many laneway walks, though our new place doesn't have one).

Keep the pictures coming
I absolutely enjoyed the last Montreal and Toronto sets.

Back from vacations. Here are a couple of pictures from Québec. I tried to pick a representative sample of summer photos from all around the city, not only Vieux-Québec.

Because Castlegar is so young, we don't have turn of the last century great old buildings.
But neighbouring old mining towns do:

Greenwood. "Smallest city in Canada" and winner of world's best tap water a few years ago:

Fantastic set Masoliantekw! Post more. It is so good to see Québec beyond the typical. It makes the city so much more real to the rest of us. Thanks, great work.

I agree! I live there and even if the old town is absolutely incredible, the city is so much more than this and the other neighbourhoods are deserving more attention.

It is interesting to see everything. We can judge however we like, but it is worth seeing all aspects and areas of a city . . . even the most banal and ugly. If it is there, I am interested.

[By example, when I travel to Europe's best cities, I seek the actual muscle that they are, not just the pretty faces. In all my time, I have been warned by police to leave an area due to potential personal threat four times: here in East Van (2AM), once in a northern district outside Paris (mid day), one looking for Corbusier in Marseilles (mid Day), and one in Baltimore (evening). You know you are somewhere 'real' when that happens. Also, my work in Europe has taken me to rural areas, towns and parts of cities no one ever visits. Most interesting.]
