Salisbury, MD: Downtown

Salisbury is a town on the Delmarva Peninsula, and is the seat of Wicomico County. The population is around 33,000. The Downtown neighborhood is the original section of town.

Salisbury began in 1732 as a landing at the head of navigation on the Wicomico River. The town was the shipping point for some of the Eastern Shore of Maryland first for tobacco, then of lumber, grain, and flour. By the 1800s, vegetables and seafood were also shipped out from Salisbury, including by rail.

Today, Salisbury is the biggest city that is a part of the Eastern Shore of Maryland, and serves as the cultural hub for half od the Delmarva Peninsula.

I love seeing a small city get a high rise, but The Ross is awful. It looks like what my 7 year old nephew would draw if I asked him to draw an apartment building. Terrible.

There should be a skyline, should be a proper angle to catch it.

For me, I love the building you posted:

Seth Hurdle Health Center

Very classic and with a lot of taste, do you know which architect design it?

I don't think I ever came across who the architect was, unfortunately. I couldn't find any information on it just now, either.
