Very nice, I have not visited Atlanta in a long time. Looks like the city has come a long way which much street life. Atlanta has a bit of a New York feel to it, in it's own Southern way. I like the fact that it is clean town, and does alot with urban landscaping. Probably one of the best landscaping major city in America.

Looking forward to visit Atlanta soon. Greetings from Rotterdam, Netherlands.

Very nice work and you captured some nice facial expressions from the pedestrians.
Just a minor correction, but it is Castleberry Hill and not "Castlebury."
Look forward to your next set of photos.

Great photos of the "giant suburb". You truly captured the real Atlanta that I know and love. Thank you.

Very impressive thread, Ant! Strato, I've always felt this way about the landscaping in Atlanta. Every time I come back home to visit, I am blown away by the landscaping in Georgia, in general. The state is blessed with some really beautiful flora.

Love it.

Great thing is that there is still Buckhead, Perimeter, Tech Square/GT, Old Fourth Ward, etc. that can still be added to showcase the growing power of Atlanta.

And for example, the "etc" would include Virginia Highland, Grant Park, West End/AUC/Washington Park, West Midtown as well as EAV.

Nice stuff; I like how you captured one of my favorite things about Atlanta, the way neighborhoods of different scale blend into each other. It has some very very modern, high-density areas but also some historic neighborhoods as picturesque as any in downtown Savannah (it's not a competition, I love Savannah too). Laughing now thinking about the person a while back on another forum who called Atlanta a "concrete jungle" -- it's the greenest big city I know.

Can't wait to see Buckhead, the Westside, Atlantic Station, so much more to photograph.

Castleberry Hill (and neighborhoods like it - West End, Mechanicsville, West Midtown/Marietta St) highlights the railroad/industrial past of Atlanta. It's great to see the re-purposing of the warehouses/factories in Castleberry Hill especially into residences, bars, galleries, etc.

Awesome thread. I passed through Atlanta a month ago in the morning and saw how much it has improved and grew. Truly Georgia's jewel and the South's metropolis.

Yep. A lot of people in SSP underestimate Atlanta's urban landscape.
