Construction workers on site: over 1,100
Groundbreaking: Sept. 2014
Opened: Sept. 2017
Construction total: 3 years

FCA Jeep Mack Factory
Cost: $1.6 billion
Construction workers on site: over 800
Groundbreaking: Summer 2019
Opening: Nov. 2020
Construction total: 1.5 years

Hudson's Tower
Cost: $900 million est.
Construction workers on site: dozens est.
Groundbreaking: Dec. 2017
Opening: 2024 est.
Construction total: at least 7 years est.

I'd rather not speculate, but whatever the reason, it's still a skeleton crew. Not exactly a good sign compared to all the funded projects in Chicago with hundreds of workers on site.

I noticed that too, seemed like maybe a dozen new workers

Also they are building one of the cores for the block which is exciting.
