hey everyone,

been lurking around for a long time now and enjoy the great information people contribute on a daily basis....if you enjoy skyscraper art you may want to check out www.wallofcities.com....has about 10 images that are removable wall decals (similar to a fathead, if you know what that is)...they are going to be able to print these images up to 6' tall...the idea is that you can create your own skyline using various skyscrapers from around the world...

i sent an email with some questions about thier products...im waiting for a response...

whats everyone think?

it looks like somebody just took buildings from google earth and made them stick to a wall to me
I think austin55 might of done the trump tower, so it also looks plagiarized I wouldn't buy anything from this site personally it looks like a sham
just my 2 cents though

Nvmd holy shit that is my trump!!! thATS AWESOME!!!! Ive been plagerized! haha thats never happend before, im actually happy about it.
thats my missing texture on that one part, I have one thats 3x better to I need to upload once I see how the spire will look.
Also T101 is by f4wildcatpilot or something, who stole the texture from STR's paper models site, Sears and FCP may be to. JHC is googles along with ESB and WF + Library tower are pats, and im not sure about BOC, it looks custom actually.

got the email response from wallofcities about thier products....the images currently in print are not the images on their website...they are using high resolution renders to print the decals in 2', 4', and 6' sizes...they also included that the first decal will be available next week...as well as some outlets in major cities (i assume retail shops?) and internet sales....

doesn't sound like you guys are high on this but I am curious to see the final images....

thought you guys might be interested in seeing thier updates....they have samples of the chrysler building decals actually stuck on some walls....im actually impressed with the detail and size...i've looked at some of the images in the sketchup warehouse...but i couldn't find one that was like this one....they must have used other images to build the website as compared to the images they are using to print....i think this will actually turn out pretty damn cool.....
