Around Dallas - 45 pics

I took a six hour stroll around Dallas today with my new camera. Forgive the quality on some of these, it was my first time to use an SLR. Enjoy!

kinda blurry... no tripod on this one.

Cool photos, I have always liked Dallas. Don't know if I could live ther (way too hot in the summer). Perhaps if I was well off, I have a condo or home and stay during the winter months only.

Thanks everyone! I got a Canon 30D... so much better than the A95 I was shooting with earlier this year.

You did a really good job for it being your first time. Those SLRs get much easier to use after a few weeks of usage.

I have been trying to do this for some time. If you get on 75 North Central from 30 East, you get a phenomenal view of the city with a pano of at least 12 cranes in the sky. It would be INCREDIBLE for some one to get that picture as it highlights perfectly the phenomenal amount of cosntruction occurring in our city . . . It's Dallas' own Burj Dubai!

Thanks again everyone!

Dallas Snob: I'll have to check that out sometime this weekend if I have the chance to. Sounds like a great vantage point.
