True. This tower will be bult, maybe not on
our timetable, but at this point it's reasonable to watch and wait it out. There are actually a limited amount of proposed office towers in Manhattan that can support tenants looking for a certain amount of space (let's say a million sf). Everybody's looking over the same supply of proposed office space - but not everyone will be able to fit into everything. That's why I say New York will get this new space, if only by default. But let's also not forget that these are great buildings, we're not talking about the bottom of the crop here. Silverstein will decide by the spring whether or not to continue with tower 3 (which has priority over this one because of the financing issues) and it hasn't been decided - at least not publicly - what form tower 2 will take at street level when put on hold. We've already seen a number of projects put on hold for over a year only to resume construction in the past few months.
