Reminds me of the skyline shown in the Matrix Reloaded during the freeway scene, lol.

Pure insanity???

(the 3rd to the right of burj dubai hasn't been designed yet but is a real project. We have an idea of the height so I just made up a design for the placeholder )

I've started doing the marina. Lots of buildings still to put in, and also have to do JLT and media city.

Another skyline render.
Even if half of this gets built.
It'd be great if there was a more dramatic backdrop like in HK or else if the towers were built right next to the water.

Try to spot the emirates towers, lake hotel, dancing towers & rose rotana

My computer just crashed last night and it won't start up again. I've no idea what's wrong since it does something different every time I reboot (or reboots itsself randomly). I'm on the 2nd pc in the house right now but it's shit and old and I doubt it could even handle the burj dubai model alone. What's definite is the most I'll be able to do is make single towers. Also hopefully my hard disk isn't wiped but just in case could people please download this file so that it doesn't get lost? It's about a month old so doesn't include the latest towers.

Done, done and done, mate. Hope you can recover the data, would be a shame to lose the last months' work.

Actually I'm still working on this. It's just that for the past few months I had barely any time and was also away for 2 weeks. I can still work with my old computer, the lag really sucks but it's possible. I doubt if I can get some more good bryce renders though. Will probably have to stick with the old-school ones like this:

Here's a model of "Dubai towers" that I did. They're not as hard to do as they look once you spot the patterns:

Now here's the most difficult tower I had to make. It's so hard because there's no pattern whatsoever that allows you to take shortcuts so you literally have to "model" everything. Is OK but not great:

That's some crazy work there. I can't imagine the time you put in them. Really great job.
