drove by the site today on lunch....

the hole is freaking huge now. Like twice as big as previous pics have shown. Plus they are pouring concrete along the East side of the hole in the footing. someone want to take some photo updates?

Breaking News!!!

Base of a Crane at 222 South Main!!!

This is it guys. I went by the site today and as viperlord was saying the hole is twice as big and there's alot a base of a crane. check these out...

Well, well what do we have here.

Maybe some of you guys remember about two years ago when we played a game on here guessing on the color of the 222 South Main crane. It looks to be gray. So who ever guessed gray guessed right. LOL. I guessed blue, so I was wrong.

I bet we will see the crane set up by this time next week. Hell yea two new cranes in two week. We are on a roll here.

Sweet pics SLCprojects

btw, dont let that crane base fool you.... Okland construction is doing the construction for 222 south main, and they are also doing the construction for the Crossroads block of City Creek Center. These guys just stole the crane base from their co-workers at citycreek.

Hey Bob, lets steal the crane base, I betcha they won't think of looking for it over here.

I was downtown this morning meeting with a friend of mine at Jones Waldo and decided to get some photos of 222 S Main and City Creek Center. I will post them tonight after work. On the 222 S Main site the base of the crane is now upright and in place. There were a few guys working around it getting it secured into place.

Its good to see another crane being put into place. I bet we see it up and working in about 2 weeks, more or less.

Thanks for the pics T-mac. You always seem to go out of your way for the forum. That makes you quite alright on my list.

Nice shots T-Mac! It's nice to see the base of the crane put into place. Can't wait to see a Crane rise from that site.

It will be more them two weeks. On photos from T-Mac, you can see anchor bolts that sitting on the field, but not on the place yet. However, in this project will be area with earlier steel, so it will go up really soon.

On my way to work this morning I noticed that the crane boom is laying on the west end of the site. It could start to go up any day now.
