Even in the night, I feel the darkness forboding with One Bloor. This thing is starting to remind me of Aura when it was at this hieght.

The five floors completed has dramatically changed the feel of the intersection. The tower itself is sure shaping up to be a beast.

I hope it starts to gain velocity soon. 1 floor a week for the tower proper isn't an unreasonable expectation, no?

Yeah. But the podium levels are huge, with massive concrete slabs that take longer to form, pour, and cure. So I would suspect that once the remaining two massive levels of podium have been completed it will speed up. I'm actually glad this mundane stuff is happening now in the depths of winter, which means when summer comes they can build a floor a week or better.

its not that cold.. I went on a 20 minute walk this morning and it was fine..

Caltrane, if you're feeling chilly in this weather I highly recommend a Canada Goose jacket and a nice scarf/gloves...makes Winter easy peasy!
