Coming soon to Remus City!

I'm going to add paths and doors to all of the most important buildings.
I'm going to make a completely new city hall!
There will be sky parks and sky lobby's on the Acropolis
And urban forestry in downtown!
Oh yea, there will be some new details for street views.

I like the style but try to mix up the colors a bit, like some dark buildings or maybe even a red one.
nice work though!

Remus city is back!

Well sorry that I've been gone for too long, I was busy during the holidays. I also took a brake from making my city.
Now there are walkways to the most important buildings ( I will add doors).

I'm going to focus on the Acropolis. As you can see, there are now paths and doors.

The Acropolis flying buttresses are no longer floating in the air.

Well thats all, tell me what you think.

Digging the mix of old & new, does Remus City take place in the present day or near future?

A small update of Remus city!
I am focusing on the Acropolis.
It is going slowly.

I have done just two levels so far.

Oh yea, Remus city is set in the present day, when its all done, I want it to be a snapshot of the city in 2012.

Well, I finished the Acropolis
Here is a quick picture.
A new view from the park!
The mega complex
There are now trees on the river front.

Here are the door of the World trade center.

Well thats all for now.

P.S. I know that the pictures are kind-of small, but there is a problem with my computer now and this is how I had to do them.

Well my computer is working better, that means big pictures.
I have a huge update for Remus city, a whole new section of the city!

This will be the main theater district, and will have much more colorful buildings.

Here is a large cinema on the right, Civic opera building in the middle and museum of natural history on the left.

Here are some of my best buildings, the curved one is a condominium. The large building on the right is actually five buildings connected at the top!

Here is a view of it looking up.

Here is a view of the twin wave hotels and the tsunami hotel! The green one is three hotels with a sky park!
This is an expansion of the catholic school.

And this is a cool view from the park

Well thats all for now, please tell me what you think.

Well I have a new update for the city.
Look at that skyline!

Here are the new buildings.

There is a cool green tower!

Smaller buildings.

That pyramid is an arboretum!

A neat area.

Here are more of my weird shaped hotels

Well, thats all for now. When I get done with this section of the city I will take a break and write more of my book.

Well, I've done the last six blocks of this section.

Here is a view looking up at the green tower.

A much smaller cathedral, I'm not going to make this one fully detailed.

Two neat buildings.

Well thats all for now, I'm not really feeling good today

Well, this city certainly is very diverse in terms of shapes and colours. I like how you're constantly coming up with new ideas!

THank you

Make no little plans...

The city's second tallest building at three thousand feet!
It was inspired by Extopea Shanghai.

I am creating my own architectural style! Gothic futurism

I really like that huge blue building!

Here are some neat buildings.

More of my strange shape buildings.

This is a cool place!

Thats it for now, I'm planing on re-texturing the Mega complex and maybe the Acropolis.

Well, that second tallest truly is massive! It fits this city's feel perfectly. I'd like to see how it looks in the skyline.

Thank you very much
I've re-textured the mega complex, now the different buildings can be distinguished apart! World trade center buildings on the right, light blue is World financial center and world stock exchange behind it.

Here is a new skyline view! The smaller acropolis is lined up with the big one in the city.

I want to re-texture the big acropolis, but I don't know which one to use!
So could someone tell me which one looks best?
first one.

Second one.

Third one.

Well thats all I have for now!

I really like how the skyline is starting to look! Quite diverse with the bigger acropolis truly dominating. I like the second option for its texture the most. It think it fits the city's atmosphere better than the other options.

I like the 2nd and 3rd options. The colors are a little more muted in those.

I like the re-textured mega complex!

Thanks for the comments
I've done another section of the city.

I'm making it look more realistic, and I had mistextured one of the world trade center buildings.

Here is a cool silver building

My cool green building is one thousand four hundred thirty feet tall!

Another gothic futurism building, these are hard to make!

Here is a monster of a building next to a modernized art deco building.

A cool crystal building next to mini Shanghai financial center

And I listened to your suggestions and made the huge tower light blue with my best texture

Here is the next section of the city that I will do.

Well, thats all. Thanks to everyone who likes my city

I really like how acropolis dominates the city. It's like this huge queen building with the busy bustling worker buildings hurrying around its feet in somekind of a building nest :-)

It's the Queen of the city
I've made a new park!

This park was once part of the jungle that dominated the island before the city was built.

Some sections where clear cut, and some sections only the underbrush was cut.
The two round ponds are artificial, the other two are natural.

A small part of the jungle is mostly intact, the underbrush is gone though.

Here is a view inside the jungle, it is not as dense as it once was, and you can see the second acropolis in the background.

Thats all for now, I'm really happy with the new park
