What if names like Larkin, Metlife, and Travelstead were synonymous with NYC?

(Bonus Pictures)

Warning: The second picture is a teaser of what's to come, and yes it is the snazziest and most colorful building in the city. (Can you guess what it is).

(Looks like no one solved the riddle of the snazziest and most colorful building)

Many buildings in the city have been called the snazziest in the city, some hotels like the Plaza, Waldorf, Sherry-Netherlands etc, and some buildings like the Chrysler and the Empire State. BUT with a doubt the snazziest (and most colorful) building in the city is the Fashion Building. The Fashion Building was built in 1930, at a height of 720 feet. Located at the northwest corner of 5th Avenue and 51st Street, and while not the tallest in the land it is quiet colorful. It contains 52 floors, and the most unique and colorful thing of all is that it was constructed using a different colored facade of various ornate bricks (masonry). Sit back relax, and watch the 'Snazziest and most colorful building in the city' (part 1).

Now the Fashion Building.

While the Tower Verre is the best in a generation, the Fashion Building is one of the best of it's generation

I see no problem with it. It is kinda unique. NYC should have a collection of everything.

This is the LAST picture(s) for a LONG time (just don't have, time) But thankyou to everyone for making this the success that it is (I'm going to be away from this forum for a while maybe many months, and if it wasn't for this thread and my urge to finish it I'd probably have left this entire forum permenantly). Again thankyou and enjoy the Hudson Yards.

(See you in some months).

It's a shame that GE doesn't anti-alias when you take screen shots though.

Without a doubt, the unfinished Metlife Tower is the greatest tragedy.
