I am excited about the residential building near Ogden. I get off at the Ashland CTA stop probably 60 times a year for Chicago Bulls games, concerts and events at Union Park. There is also a great brewery up the street and Rhine Hall Distillery is close by on Fulton. This is a great sign that new development will continue to push west towards Conservatory. The Green Line is a perfect CTA line to access jobs in the West Loop, CBD and River North... arguably much better than the Red, Brown and Blue. People can also access jobs in the UIC Medical district by jumping on the Pink line and easily hit up new restaurants (thalia hall) and event spaces in Pilsen and Douglas Park (lagunitas, cinespace). The Ashland CTA stop is prime for residential development. Whitney Young H.S. and the new Obama Magnet School is going within a 2 mile radius? Great for families too.
