Now that's more like it, more games like that please!

Also Kassian, wtf man?! Chris Simon got 30 games for stomping on a guys leg getting off the ice, Kassians was much softer, but I say give him 10 games to think about it.

Thanks to Knights, Yotes, and COilers for all losing tonight. Makes the Flames win that much better.

And Kassian, WTF? Kind of hard to take your complaints about Chucky seriously when you go and do something entirely boneheaded like that.

Kassian = idiot. Your best player is out, the playoffs are on the line and all hands on deck to stay competitive until Mcdavid returns. And he does something boneheaded like that.

Sounds like Bouwmeester basically had to get a pacemaker (device called ICD), so his career is definitely done. Super scary incident, and really unfortunate outcome for him, but glad it wasn't worse. Didn't realize the Blues were doing the Dad's trip that game too, must have been scary as hell for Bouw's dad to see that!

That's a good pickup for Vancouver!

Flames need to make a splash here or they will have another first round exit, they are too delicate right now, they need someone who can bloody score! lol

You're being an optimist, the next 2 weeks will determine if the Flames even make the first round. Still, it was fun last night to watch Mangiapane flatten Getzlaf and take the puck away from him and go get his hat trick goal!

I know I’m a homer but Toffoli gives Vancouver 7 guys that are on track to score at least 20 goals. That’s very good depth that I don’t think too many teams have. Plus Hughes anchoring the d. Canucks have to be the favorited to win the Pacific at this point. And with this play off format in the weak Pacific, the Canucks have good shot at conference finals, and who knows from there.

Yeah- they do have a good chance given how weak the Western Conference is, in general. I do find it hard to believe any team from the West will win the Cup though if they have to come up against a juggernaut like Washington, TB or Boston.

IIRC Vancouver hasn't done too bad against these big 3.

Curious to see how an injury plagued Oilers will stack up tonight against the Bruins.

^Should be badly, but I had them pegged for a terrible stretch even before today and it hasn't happened. Colour me not surprised, but queue up the no regulation wins in twelve-game stretch when McDavid comes back.

No Canadian team is very inspiring this year. Not sure I see anyone making it out of the first round unless two of the western teams face each other.

The Leafs season needs to be taken out back and put down. Literally no point in going to face Tampa or Boston in the first round now. 80% of the team fails to show up every game. Looks like they might waste a career year from Matthews.

They might surprise, but it is going to take a good goaltending effort to beat either Boston of Tampa Bay in the playoffs.

The Jets are definitely starting to come on a little bit. In theory, DeMelo is exactly what they need to cut down on the number of defensive lapses. They've already got five forwards with 20+ goals and the goaltending is very strong. I kind of think they'll make the playoffs now.
