Damn, I was wrong in my guess that they would use more 2 storey steel columns for these next erections.

Even just taking the stucco and decals off the front of CDI would be amazing.
Assiniboine Credit Union has removed their signs from the former Grapes/Sport MB/Wawanesa building. Not sure if the branch is vacated fully yet, and if their plan is to move offices in there or what the deal is. Sucks the old Ivory is offices now, hopefully that's not the fate of the south side.
No they moved to the old SkyBridge building a block south.
Yeah, I think that's the same building. Grapes wasn't in the ACU/Wawanesa building.
SkyBridge was previously "Grapes on Main". Sunday nights when i was a young man (1991-1995) were legendary
I worked security there in 94 and 95. Amazing experience for an 18/19 year old guy ;-) Lots of fun until they gutted the bar and ruined the character and atmosphere.
If that's the view from halfway up, I can't wait to see what it's like fully built out...
The 300 Main web page has an interactive viewer that shows the view from various floors. They have little gif animations plus some still photos. Here are the views from 40th floor.
The South Main one needs to be filled up , railside will help that view , the other views are fine although the view north from the 40th floor should be higher than 360 main and Richardson building , it looks almost to be the same height as the top of the buildings , I could be wrong on that maybe it’s just the angle of it .
Call me crazy but that view looking west toward TNS is beautiful. Can really see the flatness of our province and I'm sure some nice thunderstorms a lot of nights.
^ Yeah, you'd think you'd be able to see the rooftop of 360 Main at least slightly?
I think the picture is just a general idea of elevation. In reality, as per the construction documents, the parapet on 360 Main lines up almost perfectly with 300 Main's 37th floor.
