Charlotte! Please!

Anyone working on getting Charlotte caught up??? There are a bunch of buildings under construction:

- Avenue
- Trademark
- Wachovia office tower
- Wachovia condo tower
- The Park
- Novare condo tower
- Bank of America tower
- Ritz Carlton hotel
- Nascar Hall of Fame and tower

Along with other projects either proposed or close to beginning construction:
- Vue
- Twelve Hotel
- Concourse
- Aloft (see 210 Trade below)
- Berkman tower at Carolina Theater
- 300 South Tryon
- Levine's Childrens Hospital

Also, one correction

- 210 Trade (Epicentre) has not been rescaled to its new height. In addition, the new rendering could include the attached entertainment center and 10-story Aloft hotel.

Lastly, nobody has drawn Bobcats Arena yet.

With all this construction going on in Charlotte I thought one of you artists would've been feasting on it, but that doesn't appear to be the case thus far. Hopefully someone will help update Charlotte soon. To whoever that ends up being, thanks!

Oh, and the Jefferson Standard Life building (aka Wachovia Main) was given a major facelift and could use an updated rendering as well.

So has 230 South Tryon:

Wow. I can't believe nobody wants to give some of these buildings a shot. Very disappointing.

Hi Coin,

I've seen your bldgs requests and wondering how I could draw some of them. For me seems complicated but I could try an easier one, maybe a glassy tower. Can you give me an impression how an easier one from your list would appear? So, I could try. But please give me one which a request and bldg page has already made.

The new Wachovia office tower is glassy:

How about Avenue or Trademark (both are virtually done)?

Vue is about to begin construction. It is also glassy:

And finally, 210 Trade is glassy:

Ok, I did some of the easiest ones,
Nascar Tower http://skyscraperpage.com/cities/?buildingID=58091
Avenue http://skyscraperpage.com/cities/?buildingID=41458

Jefferson Wachovia Main http://skyscraperpage.com/cities/?buildingID=8026

The rest I can not promise. I ask Vaidas, who is very good in such Glassy complicated towers like this to make some. Let's see if he makes some.

Those are pretty good! Here is a real photo of Avenue for comparison:

Will these be added to the Charlotte diagram now?

I used the smaller photo for avenue. It was made in dusk like photo. Some details would not appear anyway.
Nascar is already in diagram and Avenue is still pending. Hope you enjoyed.

They're great, Mkmillenium. If you can encourage anyone to take a stab at the more complex ones I'd really appreciate it. Any chance you'd give Wachovia Main a shot? It's a smaller, simpler glassy building. It's the first pic I posted in my second post.

Thanks again!

I thought about her, I mean doing Wachovia main, but I don't know what is happening, the photo does not load always for me. If I find a better pic somewhere in web I do, as it is not that difficult. I found that http://www.cluckdesign.com/pages/work_large.2.html , I will base in this photo btw. Ok? See done above ^^^. It is in pending. When approved it would be primary together the old version, but please make a correction request adding the text some huge renovations were done in appearance lefting the old 1955 bldg updated.
I ask Saturn to do some in photoshop like this one http://www.skyscrapercity.com/showthread.php?t=360140. Let'S see if she does. I will do the smaller one. u will see more soon. But ask Dylan to have an illustrator account in sense you finish the rest of Charlotte. It is quite interesting doing in Power point or photoshop.

^That is a good photo of Wachovia Main. It would also be cool if someone would do the Wachovia tower. I'm not sure what you said in your last sentence about an illustrator account?

I did Wachovia Main. See above. Wachovia Tower would be done by Saturn. She is in the middle of it. Soon you will see also in pending. I said an illustrator account, cuz you could do by yourself some. So it will make you more entertainment and happiness about proud of doing. It was just an idea.

I wouldn't even know how to begin, nor do I have time at the moment. Also, your Wachovia Main looks good, but in reality it's less green and more dark blue glass.

I think we made our bests to reach a good appearance of both buildings. The colors are carefully studied and depending of the incident light the effect changes a little bit. You can not simply compare a diagram to a photo or rendering. They are different types of drawings and solutions to get the same aspect. The tons are found the most accurate and close the softwares offer to match the same appearance. I expected you would be happy with our efforts.

I AM happy. Please don't take it otherwise. I was simply offering a constructive opinion. I work near Wachovia Main so I've seen it in many different lights and I just thought you'd appreciate the comment, for the sake of accuracy.
